after they hatch, they will only will increase in size about 50% in a month

If you bought your betta fish from a petstore, they probably will not grow at all. Most are fully grown when they are there. Usually it takes 3-5 months to reach sexuall maturity, or the point to start selling them.

UMM Mine took about 6 months.There names are Marlin and Pearl.Do you have any idea how long female beta fish takes??

I'm no expert, but I had one for almost a year and I don't recall it ever growing. Or at least not a noticable amount.

it depends on the gender. if its a male, it will take a few months. if its a female, then it will also take a few months, but the female is still gonna be small. she's supposed to be.
