I would ask him for advice on how I can lead people effectively and turn enemies into friends.

Lincoln was very good at turning people around. Edwin Stanton was one example of a man who disliked Lincoln at first and came to love him later.

Next I would ask him how did he keep from being discouraged when things kept going so badly for him.

Finally, I would ask him what induced him to go see "Our American Cousin." It wasn't that good a play.

I'd ask him.. "IF"

"right now could have been altered by the decisions you made in your time, knowing the conditions our country is in today, what would you have done differently back then that you think would most affect America today in a positive way. Under every realm, tragedy, racism, poverty, world tragedies, what would you have changed that could have prevented destruction today.

Tragedy, racism, poverty, world tragedies. These are all things our presidents have had to face. If he could have made a difference in the lives of American people.. what would our world be like as a result.

How's it feel to be the President that ended slavery (technically) and the Civil War and all you get is a spot on the lowest form of U.S. currency (penny) yet one of your Civil War Generals (Grant) ends up on the 50 dollar bill???

Guy below me...the parties were backwards back then. Seriously, they've really become the opposite, look it up. Changes happened along with the development of America. Much different compared with today's bi-partisan.

I would ask him if he knew that Bush was really behind hiring Dick Cheney to assassinate him, and then framing John Wilkes Booth for the murder....he's behind everything else according to conspiracy theorists.

I would ask him if he had a speech writer to help with the Gettysburg Address. I would ask him what he thought about the CFR.

ain't it funny how the Democratic party calls Republicans racist when it was a Republican that ended slavery?

Was'nt Jeferson Davis a Dem and founder of the KKK ?
