Ask a dermatologist, because if you break out easily there are certain brands that you might want to avoid, and certain brands that might work well for you.

I'm blonde and fair skinned too- I guess my best advice would be to not do too my eyeliner as it will pale you out even more- be sure to use blush but not too much. But it's hard to say really what would look best without any knowledge of your facial structure- because that's going to be the key in what features you'll want to play up and what you'll want to play down.

Try going to a department store makeup counter- I know Clinique does this thing where you can make an appointment and they'll give you lots of makeup tips and stuff and help you with finding a good makeup routine that looks good.

Well, firstly if you have blonde hair you shouldn't have dark roots. Dye those roots with some drugstore root touch up!

You should find a good cleanser and use it everynight. Something for oily skin since you break out easily. Buy a good moisturizer. I like Physicians Formula, it is not that expensive.

Cover girl is good for foundation/concealer, Bonne bell has good eyeliners (try brown), L'Oreal has the best mascara and Bonnebell has good lip glosses. Or buy a plumping lip gloss! I love the new Bonne bell plumping gloss!!

Look natural, if you had make-up that is so noticable that people could see your make-up from 5 miles away, people will think you are weird. Sure it is fun, but no.
As for your acne-prone skin, use anything from clinque, Maybelline Pure Makeup is good since it is mostly water based, then Benefit play sticks. Don't stick with the cheap make-up. If you really want to use eye-shadow, stick with a gold colored or a light pink color. For lips i would say a mild pink or nude color (don't use clear lip gloss unless you want to make your lips shinier if you are wearing lipstick)

the "natural look" is very in right now. try some earthy tones for eyeshadow, a bit of mascara, and if you absolutely need eyeliner, try a grey one, a light shade at that. also, chapsticks and lip balms are in right now, they're not noticeable but your lips still look nice. plus they have a nice taste if you lick your lips or something. lip gloss sometimes has a taste that's too aggressive and lip stick is just horrible. but if you want lip gloss, go for something that's natural-looking. just a shade lighter than your own lip color. try something in nude or nuetral or something. don't go too dark or too light.

just keep in mind that the natural look is way more attractive than looking like a hooker. don't overdue your makeup. you could try some funky colors every now and then, but don't make a habit out of it.

i would try not to use to much makeup on your face because that will make your acne worse. i would just wear a little mascara, eyeliner or eye shadow if you want, and some lip gloss in a pink or neutral shade/tint. you should try an eye shadow that is a little shimmery or very natural.
