I am both a buyer and seller on eBay! It is a great place to find some of the best deals! The whole key is to always check the person's feedback! If there are several complaints about not receiving an item, that's a red flag! Do not deal with that person! If you have two minds about them, do not buy. Others may have complaints about slow shipping ( If that does not bother you).I have only been shafted once in the last two years and I buy at least three items a week! What does that say? It is a good place to buy, with the exception of a few scammers here and there! Some even have fake positives to fool people! Always read the negatives, then draw your own conclusion!

Great Web site to sell or buy on, highly recommended. There is a complaint process you can go through if you aren't satisfied.
Scams are rare on eBay but it has happened before, mostly on very expensive items where a criminal wants a lot of money quick. I have never had a problem with eBay at all.

I love eBay. I buy and sell. I never had any problems. You just have to look at the shipping charges and feedback rating. Of course if you are new, I wouldn't be purchasing very expensive items, just keep it real and you will be fine. Some sellers won't even sell to newbies, so it works both ways.

Be careful here. Like anything else, there are all kinds of people out there. Some honest, and you will get a good deal, some not.
Before you go to eBay, why not check out www.bizrate.com for the item. You will get a list of retailers in order of price. Another good place to try is www.amazon.com. All kinds of things are available here.

Oh yeah, it's super safe. I looove eBay. =)
If you have any doubts, check the feedback ratings of the sellers you'd like to purchase from. Lots of positives means the better your transaction in most cases.

it depends on what u are buying. If you are buying shoes, clothes, movies, cds, posters, etc then I think it's good but don't buy things expensive stuff. I bought a diamond ring that was supposed to be 2k and it looks like 0.2 in person

ebay is safe as long as you pay with paypal. i have had no problems when i paid with paypal but i have been a victim of fraud when i used other methods of payment. my word of advice: if a seller does not offer paypal, avoid them.

you can get great deals if you do some homework. paypal is the devil though. anything goes wrong with your payment, they aren't help at all. use paypal if you dare, otherwise, go for the money order.
