i am a very liberal guy, and not a fan of bush - but i think that most of the recent anti-bush sentiment is fashionable - so ppl just blame him for everything because you can - its pretty lame - i knew when skateboarding companies started making anti-bush shirts and offspring was on a compilation called rock against bush that it was now a trend

I have to agree with you here. Someone decided that he was a bad president because he took a stand and never wavered, rather than flip and flop like most politicians do. So now they hate him so bad they have to blame him for everything. I am SO sick and tired of idiots saying he is the worst president in American History. Any moron who makes such an idiotic claim obviously has no clue about American History at all, and should not pretend to. Any person who knows a fraction of anything knows that you cannot rate a president until years after his presidency when you can finally determine how much of a long-term impact he made on America. We are just now getting to the point where we can start making objective judgments about Reagan's administration. It will be 15 years before we can determine Clinton's relative rank accurately. So, stop saying Bush is the worst when you have no idea what the heck you are talking about! Remember, Lincoln had the lowest ratings of any president in history during the year he was re-elected, and was at the time considered one of the worst presidents ever. Now he is considered by most historians as perhaps the greatest president in our history. The problems of the world, like terrorism, and problems in the Middle East didn't start when Bush came to office. They have been problems for years, even centuries. Bush decides to stop global terrorism and now he is the devil himself? How much sense does that make? Who will the liberals blame ten years from now?

I'm not a Bush supporter, but on this, I happen to agree with you.
People, often, like to blame other people for their troubles - whether their financial, family oriented, or otherwise. Because, when you think about it, if they aren't caused by someone else, then.... they are caused by themselves. What horror. We can't have that.
When there is a president who does something controversial, and Bush has definitely been doing that during his tenure, he is easier to criticize - about any issue.
Katrina could have been handled better. He admitted that.
The Iraq war, well, that's not a debate we need to start here as we've all heard every angle and opinion.
As for Sept 11th, that is just dumb. Intelligence takes years and years to build up, and years to break down. Bush did not break it down, even if he tried, which I'm sure he didn't.
And as for the Israel/Lebanon war, well, there's been violence on and off in that area for years and years - years before George Washington was even conceived... People haven't paid as much attention to it as we do now, being that we are over near that area fighting our own war.

He has done more than Clinton ever did, Clinton was offered Bin Laden's head three times by Syria, has put the Taliban and Al Qeada on the run, stopped a dictator from killing his own people, was ready for Katrina while Ray Nagin waited till the last minute to act, and is using the NSA properly. The Democrats want a scape goat and are using George's small errors as major judgement call. George has done a great job as president and if anyone has a problem, i'll fight them!!!

He is not blamed for everything that has happened but for his response or lack of response to it. He has lied and manufactured things that have killed many many people. He failed to recognize the seriousness of various situations and act accordingly. Also, every piece of legislation he promotes favors the rich at the expense of middle income and poor Americans. He was a coward regarding his military service and always did the minimum in school and the companies he was handed by his father failed under his leadership. The man is a loser and has done terrible things for this country and the world. He is the most dangerous terrorist is the world today.

People blame Bush for everything because they live in their own fantasy land where everything they think they know is everything there is to know. If most would spend more time getting educated in history, rather than google-ing every conspiracy theory they can read, or surfing porn, or taking drugs...they probably would understand the historical importance of what it is Bush is doing today. If they studied military history, or logistics, they'd undertand that Iraq is really the first step to dealing with the REAL enablers of terrorism, Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. And if they think ANY American President can anticipate and prevent a historic natural disaster, then they live in La La land.
It's easy to criticize someone who makes important decisions...the majority of those people could'nt lead any group of people to much of anything on their own, much less walk an inch in Bush's shoes. I don't agree with everything he's done, but I can at least appreciate his decision making ability and moral clarity...these people here who judge him, really are saying more about themselves, and their lack of conviction, courage, education, or morals...than they ever will about Bush.

Well!!! Think about it.... he does know alot more than is being told to the public. As far as Katrina he had nothing to do with the storm ,but he had ALOT to do with the clean up efforts. Face it he is the president, but he is lacking alot when it comes to leading our country..... Ihope you meant George W Bush. I think George Bush was on the right track ...maybe George W needs to listen to dad for a while!!!!!

No its not dumb. people are not blaming him for everything that happens, its more like they dont like the way he handles certain situations, well not just certain i think its all. for example during the katrina hurricane, do you know where he was? he was vacationing, and it took so long for help to go out. also why is it that we can spend 2 billion dollars on war and theres people in this country dying cause of poverty. and why was there not enough relief during the katrina hurricane disaster. thats just one of the many many many reasons why americans dislike bush.

Goes with the territory...as President, he also gets "kudos" for good things that happen which he has little control over (the economy, for instance). Any President must manage negativity which always outweighs the positive at his level. The President is a "lightning-rod" for all problems.

Because it is much easier for those with a left leaning political persuation to simply pick up on the Democratic Parties talking points, which usually only include 'bash Bush', rather than thinking things through for themselves.
It is a sick psychosis. But, W will be vindicated in the end, and sooner rather than later, hopefully not too late for the country we live in.
