Lilies are great, and so are orchids for weddings. Lily of the Vally or baby's breath for filler. Ivy for greenery.
If possible, match the secondary flowers to the bridesmaid's dresses. If they are in pink, try pink lilies with white roses. Depending on how ornate your dress is, decides your bouquet. If you have a very elaborate dress with lots of beading, sequins, embroidery, or other decorations, stick with a simple white bouquet. It's overpowering to have too much going on at the same time. If your dress is simple, throw in your wedding colors. You should know your colors and bridesmaid dress colors before selecting flowers. If you picked blue, you need to decide if you want to pay for dyed flowers, or ones that are naturally blue.
The other flowers should reflect the bridal bouquet. Bridesmaids bouquets, groom's and groomsmen boutineers, mother's corsages, father's boutineers, table centerpieces, church flowers, whatever you are planning on ordering. For a wedding, the flowers should match, or at least semi-match.
