Israel is a democracy being attacked by terrorist states. Why dont liberals lend there support to the only country in the region that supports equality for women, voting rights and religious freedom?

Israel gets support from the conservatives, not the liberals.

Because liberals have been condition to the mentality of 'if good for Bush, or America, we don't like it' mentality. And they don't even realize how the elitist Democratic Party has sold them, and our country, down the river just to get their 'control' and 'power' back. It's the major psychosis of the modern era.

The relationship we have with Israel is not provincial and is a political and financial connection made by thousands of Zion Americans who have been pushing, financing and fanageling to be Americas almost only world partner in most things..Notice the Jewish emcee radio/tv stations talk shows nearly always bring up the status of Israel and America's relationship such as items today push that we should assist and be a partner in the invasion and/or bombing of Iran, as Syria. Iran and Syria are severe thorns in Israel's side and blocks Israel in getting control of the riches of those middle-eastern oil-rich countries..Which is what our top leaders want a big piece of when the smoke and mirrors are turned off. Saudi and the other arab countries may or may not be a goal....They must remain to make it look like we are humane. The problem currently is the question of why we didn't pull out of Iraq after we captured Saddam and killed his sons. Why did we have to invade Iraq..We wanted Saddam and sons out of the way so many Iraqis would not be killed tjose murdering thugs................How's that for questions? Israel will never be a viable entity in the middle-east until most of the stronger Arab nations are eliminated...Soon there will be subtle promotions by the radio/tv Right Wingers to buy Israeli Companie' s stocks and bonds to tie us even closer to Israel which should lessen conflict or questions regarding our relationship....The results are up to voters this November to get the politicos out of office who are for themselves and noone else...!!!

Hey Sparky, we do. What we don't agree with is how the Bushies are using Israel to attack Hezbollah in order to see if an attack on Iran is feasible. The way Israel attacked Lebanon is the same as when Clinton bombed Bosnia. Therefore, the US is once again meddling in the affairs of the Middle East. It's not Israel's right to defend herself, it's Bush!!!!!!!!

I know more Conservatives like Pat Buchanan who hate Israel more then anything. In fact there is a direct link to Nazism and Conservatism.

And it's not just Liberals and Conservatives against Israel, it's the whole damn world.

FIRST... let's get a few basic stats straight...

the majority of jews in America are LIBERAL... yes very good...

the biggest supporters of Israel in America overall are JEWS... yes, even more so than the conservatives...

are you starting to see the gaping wide hole in logic in your argument?

It's like saying "why do conservatives hate and protest at soldier funerals?".... since a small group of conservatives did this...

many who speak against israel are conservative... .come down to the south, jews aren't very popular here... and they aren't liberals down here...

just saying...

Excuse me? Religious freedom? Does that me they decided to allow missionaries? Voting rights? Does this mean the West Bank residents besides Jewish settlers have been given the vote in Israeli elections? Maybe we need to support them, but it has little to do with being democratic.

Because then that would be guilt by association, wouldn't it?
You are right in trying harder to win friends for a future enlightened Israel, but your argument needs a lot of work.....

Because Hezbolllah is just lashing out from inner pain, they just need reassurance and a hug from their big brother USA and all will be right as rain!
