Alienware is owned by Dell. I would recommend building a Gaming PC. It would be a lot cheaper than going to dell and a $2500 alienware machine is low end and without a monitor.

Alienware is good, but dell has the XPS 700 with the dual 2 core processor.

If you want a gaming computer, you should never buy one, build one yourself. Although the task of building your own computer may be daunting, that is if you aren't familiar with it, you can read some guides and how-to on the internet. Building your own computer is cheaper and you can often reuse old parts from your old computer to put into your new computer. I built my gaming computer about a year ago for under $1500, and today its still pretty top of the line.

dude, don't get a dell, they suck! go to tigerdirect.com and get a systemax or something. you can easily get a great gaming machine for under 2 grand, with the dual cores or hyperthreading or 64 bit'ers, anything you want.
