The formulas that I learned in school are different than those they use today....
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius you: deduct 32, divide result by 9 and then multiply that result by 5. So 100 minus 32 equals 68, divided by 9 equals 7.56, times 5 equals 37.8 degress Celsius.
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit you work exactly backwards to the above...divide by 5, multiply result by 9, then add 32.

100 Farenheit equals 37.7778 Celsius
The convertion formulae are as follows:-
* Farenheit = Centigrade x 1.8 + 32
* Centigade = Farenheit - 32 x 5/9

100 degrees Fahrenheit = 37.7777778 degrees Celsius
But you know what is just sooo cool?
Just put this in a google search window: 100f =
Google will know what you're looking for, and calculate the answer. It can do a bunch of stuff like that, like if you put in a string like aa1272, it will assume you want flight status on American Airlines flt 1272.
Put in 4*5/2 and it will spit out 10. Ask for a currency conversion.... it just does it.
And if people typed in their question in google before they posted it here, this place would die.

The basic conversion formula is given as,
C = (F - 32) x 5/9
Now let's plug 100 into the unknown F like this,
C = (100 - 32) x 5/9
C = 68 x 5/9
C = 340 / 9
C = 37.78

Hello!
here's how you do it:
Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit number you want to convert then multiply by 5/9.
So: (100 - 32) X (5/9)
Hope it helps

It's 37.7777 celsius. Google does loads of conversions for you. If you want to do Fahrenheit to Celsius, just type in "x fahrenheit in celsius" and replace the x by the number. Same for "x pounds in kilos", "x inches in centimeters" and so on. Try it here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=100+fahrenheit+in+celsius
