Why do people have pleasure in belittling themselves....??

I would like your views as to why some people who use either crude language or offensive suggestions on this site take pleasure in debasing themselves. They apparently are unaware that in doing so they demonstrate their weakness and not their strengths. Why do you think they are content to put themselves down in this way???

Often, the only way some people can feel good about themselves is to make someone else feel bad. It's usually a sign of insecurity or low self-esteem.

Ah, they arent content because they dont know they are doing it, as you said. Until people realize that no man knows everyhing and should be open to other possibilities, then you'll always have ppl thinking they know everything.

They act that way because they either don't recognize their personal strengths or want to get more attention.
