I think I may be pregnant, but it's too soon for blood test or hpt to show a positive result. For any mothers, how soon did you start noticing symptoms and which ones began first? Just curious!

It is the hormone hcg that triggers pregnancy symptoms. Until the egg is implanted in your uterus you dont have any symptoms, which is about five days or so before you get your period. that is also the earliest any test can tell. Some early pregnancy symptoms resemble period ones too.

It's different with each pregnancy. With my first I knew before I even missed a cycle. I mean I KNEW. No doubt in my mind. I was in the little girls room all the time, my breasts were tender like they have never been before or again, and all I did was cry.
With my second I had no idea. I felt nothing. I even missed a cycle and didn't think anything of it because I felt fine. Finally, one day, my best friend caught me crying over something ridiculous and told me I needed to take a HPT. I told her she was crazy, I KNEW I was not pregnant. Hmm....I was wrong.

My symptoms started before any tests showed I was pregnant. I was nauseous and my breasts were sore. It was about three weeks before my missed period and a positive pregnancy test. I had even taken a pregnancy test at my doctor's office and it came up negative. I am 12 weeks pregnant now.

i didn't know i was pregnant until i took the hpt 3 days before my missed period. about 2 weeks after that around 4 weeks pregnant, i started getting sore breasts and cramping like menstrual cramps. hope this helps

I often tease that I showed symptoms when I was 10 minutes pregnant. Actually it was about three days. It started with tiredness and sore nipples.
Every woman is different.

I felt nothing, but i took a test (because we were trying) and it came up positive. The very next day i felt sick all day and that night I threw up and entire calzone in my friend's car. I was sick for the next three months.
BTW - it turned out I was 4 weeks when I took the test.

my symptoms started when i was 1 or 2 weeks, i never take a pregnance test cuz i always know the first or second week because i get so sick to my stomache.

My Daughter and I can both show at three weeks on a store bought test. Well, not me anymore...YEAH!
Also, both our breasts and tummies swell quickly, 5 weeks or less, tummies up high, just above the waist band of pants, and breasts, rock hard and painful for a few weeks.

By a month pregnant My nipples and breast were very sensitive and I had cramps. Hope that helps you out some. Good luck
