What's wrong with sleeping with his baby? If this is a new baby, maybe he's just overly concerned for the child and wants to keep his eyes on it as much as possible. My friend has this "problem" but she's the one that sleeps with the baby, not the husband. If your sister is upset with this, perhaps she can have a talk with her husband about it and see what the deal is. Otherwise, wait till the child gets a little older and see if things improve.

Well our 2 yr old still sleeps right in between my fiance & I. We only move him when we want to have sex. I would be thankful that he's cuddling his baby instead of cuddling another woman. If she wants more affection she should just ask him. Maybe he doesn't realize that she feels left out. Or maybe she could sleep with him and the baby.

those who answer baby between the parents.. well they are in for a divorce..
as once the matrimony bed becomes anything but and couple sleep apart, resentment builds and evetually either cheating or divorce. children need to sleep away from there parents, as it's the parents health ( mental and otherwise ) that's the most important for the child. when 2 parents are healthy and happy, it shows and the child grows up in a postive enviroment, when it's not... well you all known someone who has grown up in a 1 household family haven't you.

I think it may be normal. Maybe he sleeps better knowing that the baby's safe.
