My front suspension is getting soft and I am looking for a repair manual.

The GS500 is the basic design. It comes in two varieties, the GS500E and GS500F. The F version has a sportbike fairing and low clip-on handlebars. The E is the "standard" version, with higher handlebars and no fairing. The GS500 that you've seen is probably an E model and the seller just didn't specify that.

Yes there is.
The manual should cover the variants.
In other words, the book will be for GS500,GS500E,GS500etc.
