when i try to type emails, i cant get a cursor when i click in the text box, so i cant type anything, why?

Hello, That is very interesting because the exact same thing happened to one of my students this week. He has a MacOS9. When he uses the reply button, he does not get a cursor either in the e-mail template no matter how many times he clicks. When he composes a new e-mail, however, everything works fine.
BUT HERE'S THE INTERESTING PART. Even though there is no flashing I bar, he can still type. Try it yourself. After you click, just begin to type on the keyboard and see what happens. I would be interested to see you post your results here.
