In your ideal Pride and Prejudice, who's your ideal Lizzy & Darcy?

Just curious about an idealized cast...my husband and I amuse ourselves casting Austen pics when we're bored. We'd love to hear people's ideas whether we agree with them or not--not just Lizzy and Darcy, but Charlotte, Mr Collins, Mrs Bennet,or any and all Austen characters. Don't hold back!

Oh, definitely Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh.

But they lived this story already, didn't they?

And the marriage didn't work, did it?

Well, sometimes one's prejudgement may turn out to be right, and pride may not be overcome.

I'd still like them to make the movie.

I have to say, Colin Firth IS Darcy. I try and think who else could play the part, but I can't see past him. As for Lizzy, I like the idea of Wynona Rider. Maybe because Lizzy reminds me of Jo March from Little Women...

Me, thirty years ago, and Galen Gering from the soap "Passions" Man I am hooked on that movie and the scenery and colors, the MUSIC will someone for the Love of God Make a Sequel? Was Donald Sutherland not just AWESOME!
