The bumps will go away, they are normal because of the heat. You don't have to bathe your baby everyday, just keep him cool with a washcloth. You can also use oatmeal lotion, it's great for the skin - Aveeno.

There isn’t very much you can do about it since it is normal and will simply have to run its course. The best thing you can do for your baby is to keep him or her as comfortable as possible. Wash your baby’s face with water and use mild soap once a day. Milk or saliva dribbling from the baby’s mouth will also irritate the skin. It would help to avoid harsh laundry detergents.
If you are really upset about your baby’s condition, it would be best to see a pediatrician. But if you are prepared to wait, you’ll soon realize that your baby’s acne will pass off on its own as the oil glands subside. The next time you see acne on your child’s face, you may have a different set of worries, because your baby will be an adolescent by then, well on the way to adulthood! In the meantime, relax and enjoy watching your baby grow and you’ll soon find out that there’s a lot more to babyhood than baby acne. Remind yourself that this is a precious time that will not come back and make the most of the time you have with your baby while you can. Before you know where you are, you’ll find that your baby’s acne has faded away like the memory of a bad dream and you’ll wonder what you were so upset about to begin with!

There is a baby acne that shows up, but I thought that was younger than 10 wks. I used to live in South FL. My son had sensitive skin. Every time we went outside and he'd sweat---red, pimply, it would last for days. He seemed to have gotten worse around 12 wks. And it subsided about 9 months. Food irritated his face. So, be careful when feeding him new foods. Also, if certain foods irritated him on the way "out"....he would get a bad diaper rash. In fact, if he has some bad poops---bad rash. Occasionaly he might get a little flub of something on his face now and then (he's 2.5 now)....but for the most part--he's over whatever that was.

Talk to the pedi about it at the next dr's appt. I know at 4 months, they prescribed him elidel. This is for eczema. It didn't help. At 6 months, we moved to the midwest--and that pedi said that based on the elidel not helping--he concluded that his skin was just sensitive and to be careful while introducing foods...etc. I definitely needed to wait on citrus. He actually has a mild to low reaction when actual eggs touch his skin.

ANYWAY--the best thing I did was wash his body with cetaphil. Then, immediately put Aquaphor on the area.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Yes, our son had bumps on his face for about a month around that time but it's cleared up and he is now 4 1.2 months old. Don't worry, just don't put lotion on it or soap while washing and it won't be as bad. Our sons baby acne usually got worse when he cried, or spit up a lot. So we just wiped his face of with a wipy at each diaper change, to keep the area clean.

Our baby boy had baby acne too. It's quite normal.

It's hot and humid where we live too. We just wash his face with plain water and let it take care of itself. Sometimes the baby wash can irritate it, but that all depends on how sensitive his skin is.

Just leave it. It will eventually resolve on its own (typically before the 3rd month).
If you wash it more often, his skin will become dry, flaky and uncomfortable (just think about how your skin feels when you wash it too often or don't use moisturizer).
He's starting to move around a bit more, and rub his face on your clothing, with his hands, on his blankets, etc., and its just his body's natural immune system responding to this new stimulus.

It isn't acne and probably is somewhat heat related. Plain water is best, just don't put anything on it like powder or lotions.

Mine had it, it goes away by itself.

My daughter had that real bad this summer. All that I did was try to keep her as cool as possible and I would wipe her face with sensitive skin baby wipes. It cleared up soon.
