It was not a Nickelodeon show. It was a syndicated game show, and I remember it following Fun House (hosted by J.D. Roth). The name of the show is something along the lines of Slime Time, but again, this is not Nick.

Nickelodeon had Double Dare and another called Slime Time Live. The only other one I can remember that involved slime was You Can't Do That on Television.
