It is not going to be the heat in Anaheim that will hurt you, but humidity. Depending on where you are coming from, the humidity in Calfiornia will make even 80 degrees feel extremely uncomfortable.
You won't get a heat stroke, as long as you keep yourself hydrated (drink LOTS of water, not soda), and know your limits. If you start feeling tired, or dizzy, sit down, relax. There are also plenty of shops and show you can see, to take a little break from the sun.
Lines there can be pretty long. Weekdays have lighter lines, and Disneyland has FastPass, where you can get a ticket that gives you specific time to come back to the ride, and you get on almost instanly. However, FastPasses are limited, and they go quickly, but in the end, save you a LOT of time in lines.
Hope this helps. Have fun!

I know there are a lot of answers, but here is mine.

I was there a few weeks ago in July. The lines at California Adventure were VERY short. We only got a single park ticket because we thought the lines would be long. We finished the entire park in 2-3 hours. Then we upgraded our tickets to the park hopper and we got through all the major rides in Disneyland the rest of the night along with going back to CA to ride the Tower of Terror and watch the electric light parade, then go back to Disneyland to ride two more rides.

It wasn't really hot. Since most of the rides' lines are indoors, except a few, it wasn't that bad. I suggest getting some fast passes for Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and that's about it. Pirates, the newest updated ride, seemed to go fast. We stood in the back of the line and got on the ride in about 20 minutes.

Hope that can help!

Does any one Really have to answer this question? Disney is alway crowded. Period. California is hot. Period.

Check the weather channel for a couple of days before you go and plan accordingly. bring sunscreen and plenty of water. That is if they still allow you to bring any of that into the parks after the British plane scares, but if you can bring you own water, it is a good idea because everything at Disney id HIGHLY over priced. You just want plain water? OH no, you have to get it in the special Disney cup with the Disney straw. You'll end up paying like 5 bucks for 16 ounces of water.

Don't pack for the winter! It's California in the summer and youll want to stay as cool as you can.

Two words: FAST PASS. always faster than the other lines and they go right past the other lines so you can laugh at the poor saps who are waiting for two hours for a thirty second ride on a roller coaster thats not all its cracked up to be. Any way enough of my ranting up fast pass because you can get your ticket and then go do something else while you wait.

Unless of couse you happened to be there at 10 o clock on a day that all the fast passes for the ENTIRE day were gone at like 9. Then you have some serious waiting to do!
