First of all, go to this website:

http://www.redzero.demon.co.uk/moonhoax/

Second, read everything on that website. It'll take you at least a half an hour. So if you are going to answer this question, make sure you actually read the website. Otherwise, you may end up looking like a complete idiot saying things that are clearly debunked by said website. Any answer before half an hour is up that supports the idea that the moon landings were faked clearly either didn't read this part of my question or can't be bothered by actually checking facts.

Third, what makes you think you are more intelligent than Russian Secret Service? Because you know if they had any doubts about the moon landings being legit, they would have broadcast it EVERYWHERE.

It's interesting that all the people who answered your question know that the Moon landings were real, as do I. I just wanted to give you another site that debunks the moon hoax - when you come across those who believe the hoax, it's always nice to have several arguments from different people at your disposal.

Questions about the 'fake' moon landing must be repeated 50 times a day. Are they trying for the Guinness book for the most FAQ of 2006?
LOL

I don't need to read any more web sites.

I'm already well versed on that subject over several years and extremely adept at science - I don't fool easily and already have enough experience and scientific knowledge to know a bogus theory when I see one.

Anyone who thinks that the lunar landing was faked has never yet put forward a single atom of evidence to that effect that could survive even the most cursory examination of a competent 6th grade science student. No competent scientist could possibly arrive at any such conclusion either. It just doesn't add up.

That fake moon landing conspiracy nonsense has been so vigorously debunked so many, many times that it doesn't even deserve a hearing anymore.

It's an insult to the intelligence of a monkey! (My apologies to monkeys everywhere)

I'd just like to say that's a good way of putting it to them.

Well done.

You are quite right. You really do not have to go into detail about stars in the sky, flag waving and dust settling after takeoff, because quite literally there is no way thousands of Apollo workers could have been fooled, and as you point out the Russkies were very interested in the whole thing, because up to that point, they were ahead of USA and had soft-landed craft on the moon and brought stuff back.

They in fact had done what Apollo did, except without astronauts. The had landed probes, successfully taken off again, and then returned them to Earth.

So, why would anyone doubt the Apollo landings.

People just love a good story, but what they are not realizing, and how much it irks me and many others, is how insulting they are to the people who worked their guts out to make Apollo a success.

Imagine being an astronaut who went to the moon and some punk kid, who wasn't around in 1970, comes up to to you and tells you he doesn't believe it.

Imagine being one of the controllers who sweated blood every mission, especially when a crew burned to death and when Apollo 13 got into dire straights.

How insulting these punk brainless kids doubting the efforts of all the wonderful people who created history and orchestrated the greatest adventure mankind has embarked upon.

I too believe it was real.

(Rent the movie Capricorn 1. It's about a faked manned mission to Mars. The 'roof' joke is worth the price by itself.)

About that flag. The nuts claim was that it 'waved'. They say that no wind on the moon would preclude a flag waving.

What they don't know was that the flag was suspended from a bar parallel to the surface of the moon. That's what kept the flag unfurled.

The wave came from a twist to the flag pole. Since there is no atmosphere in the moon, there was nothing to provide the 'braking' action of air on the Earth. So, the flag swung back and forth like a pendulum.

Don't you just love conspiracy theories? Aren't they just the cutest things.

Themoon landings were NOT faked.

We can shine laser beams up there and get them reflected back by the reflectors our astronauts left on the moon.

We have also compared the moon rocks brought back to those moon rocks which were blasted into space by meteor impacts on the moon and fell to earth. They are the exact same kind of rock.

Anybody who thinks the moon landings were faked is just mistaken.

Will faked moon landing reports ever go away? Probably not - it will be perpetuated by the conspiracy morons who simply won't allow themselves to accept that sometimes events REALLY do occur as reported - without any covert cover-ups and government devious objectives. If by "actual evidence" you are referring to "proof" - I'm afraid that this "proof" is what would be subject to verification, and not the actual moon landing. Some people simply will not allow facts to muddy up their conclusions.

no im not gonna read all that cuz i believe the moon landings were real, but i heard some people say they didnt believe it cuz when they took the picture there were waves in the flag, and they said that wouldnt happen since there is no gravity. Oh well... i believe it all happened.

I had to answer your question, I saw your response to the question about the moon landings and saw the link at the bottom for this question. I love it!.

I agree with you. Thanks for the web site, I can use it as a resource in my classes. Here's another for you:

Conspiracy theorists grasp at anything, and generally ignore any answer which does not agree with their mind set. Remember, there is also STILL a "Flat Earth Society".

Clear Skies!

If they actually landed on the moon, where is the cheese?

We all know the moon is made of cheese, so where is it?
