Yep, can't get in trouble as much and they won't fall behind in classes. I also think that all schools should wear uniforms too. You are there too learn not to see who is wearing what.

I dont' think it matters if the school is all year around or uses the regular system... Truthfully, a year round school works better in that you take vacation in november and can go to disney world when it's not as busy...

What would be a better way to get students to learn again (which is the idea behind the all year round school) is for parents to start taking more of an involvement like they were in previous years... But, that's probably not going to happen...

I don't simply because a lot of children don't have the maturity to be in school year round. Personally I'm fine with it, I already go to school year round because I take college courses during the summer.

not me!! that is child abuse!
if u just see that type of school bag we have 2 carry, u'll think the same. in news they wrote that kids that r 10 and above, have 2 drag a bag that is like above 6 kilo's.
and where i come from, by the age of 10, we can speak minimal 4 languages. so u can guess how many stuff we have 2 learn.
2 endure that, is pure torture!!

Oh please don't go there. Kid's need a break seriously. We can't cope with everything that's going on in our lives. We have to deal with Peer pressure, relationships, fitting in , standong out, finding who we are, family problems, parents not trusting us, sibling feuds, mental and physical stress, depression, anxiety, nervousness, and to add school to that, homework, test, exit exams to get out of highschool=wtf?, being made fun of, being judged, depression.....that's alot. I'm only 15 but alot of people agree with me in saying that teens today have it much worse than they did say 30 years ago. It'd just be too much for us. plus we need a break.

NOT ME> I think summer is one of the best memories of childhood and I would hate to have my kids not be able to have those memories.
