I'm a fan of music. I prefer metal but the sound of a drumset no matter what style music if played right is the greatest sound on the planet. Love the answers so keep them coming. Any music, any time frame.

it really depends on what genre you like. the drummer in dream theater is great for rock/metal. the band rush of course has probably classic rock's finest drummer. songs like war pigs from black sabbath. anything john bonham did with led zeppelin. especially his solo he played called moby dick. it sometimes lasted up to 30 minutes in live concerts. it would just go and go as it flowed out of him. more jazzy type probably something along the lines of a dave mathews band song ("gray street" for instance). hope some of this helped. you should really check out war pigs. it's not too too difficult i dont think but the drums are amazing. well done. nice fills.

Actually though its pretty simple I like the drums in 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover by Paul Simon
But if you are a big fan of drums the Japanese group Kodo is the band you need to check out
