you can send your game film to colleges in hopes that they decide to watch you. If you are not already on their radar it is gonna be hard to get there. They know who they want way before it is graduation time! I know it sound terrible to say that, but in almost all cases it is true. They have their eyes on people from their soph and jr. years.

If all you do is want to get ranked then you should play as much as possible at camps and tournys. I don't know about girls but something like AAU tournys or the Big Time tourny in vegas for guys. you attend those and do good-your in. If you want a scholarship or colleges notice you I agree with the sending out of tapes with highlights, awards, etc. your coach can probably help with the college recruitment. The rankings your coach won't be able to help much with unless he or she has some serious pull. Getting ranked usually depends soley on talent and exposure. If you are from a small market like central wyoming it will be harder to get noticed as someone from NYC with the same talent.

The best thing to do is get your name out there. Talk to your coaches - have them guide you in the right direction.
You will also want to attend the camps that have the college coaches out there. A lot of college coaches use the big camps to "recruit" new players. Find those camps, and go to them. They could get pricy, but that is where you want to be.
Your ranking will have to do with your demand. Make a highlights video of some games you have played in and done well. Maybe even some practices that show your skills off. Make a "resume" of sorts, that has your stats, gpa, awards for your team, any conference honors, and highlight your position(s) you play and what you are your strengths. You will then want to send that and your tape out to the colleges that you are possibly interested in attending. With peeking interest in you and your talents, you will begin to see yourself ranked.
Again, the first step is talking to your coach and finding out which way you should go. They will also be great for a personal reference letter highlighting your contribution to your team and what an asset you are, as well as a joy to coach.
Good luck!!

I would contact Rivals.com and ask them that question directly. Just asking is going to make them take a look and they are standard for high school rankings. Perhaps your coach could help.

what is very good====
what is your height=
are you 6 ft and play a guard. then you might get to college if you score alot with low turn overs.
if you are 6 ft and a center or forward. you are too short to play D-1. at a competitive level. then you should be scoring over 20.
so- what is very good??????
