Yes, the credit reports are exactly what you need... not just one but all three: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Do not even consider paying for them or for the special services they offer online. These reports are 100% free (once yearly) under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I prefer to send letters to all three bureaus requesting my FREE credit report and keeping copies. The reports will tell you what accounts you have, account limits, past due amounts, balances, account numbers (sometimes scrambled), etc. In your letter(s), you will need to provide name or names, address and previous address, mother's maiden name, your date of birth, your social security number, and current phone. The addresses for each of the bureaus are on their websites. Do it in writing, not online!!! NOTE: the balances may not be accurate because they are only valid as of the last reported dates but you will know WHO you owe and then you can find out HOW MUCH you owe.

I don't know that it would tell you every, single, monthly bill you have, but it would definityly show every "bad" debt you have against you, {things you're considered in default on } , and you can get a 1 free credit report from each of the top 3 reporting agencies, {Experian, Trans Union, Equifax} each year. I like to break mine and request them quarterly. They usually charge something though for getting your credit "score" , this is what they go buy for obtaining credit. Hope this helps.

it wont say how much you still owe it will saythe total balance of how much was originated but if you have paid off some it wont say how much it will tell you which bills your late on and which have been taken to legal action and it will tell you if you have any bills you dont know about such as Identity theft issues I recommend getting your free credit report you get 1 each year from each company since there are 3 companies if you stagger them out such as one every 4 months you get a credit report year round which is much more efficiant.

Yes...the credit report should tell how much and whom you owe money. I have seen on internet some companies which offer to make a credit report for you...I don't know how efective they are, even they tell is for free.

No- a credit report just shows which companies have reviewed your credit standing, whether you have good or bad credit... general information, not as specific as amounts owed
