yes. Everyone has an accent based on their locality. Many places pronounce their words differently or have different phrases they say. Some find it interesting and funny. It is also neat to listen to a person from another area talk.

An accent is stress placed on words, so, if you speak words or a word , you have an accent and it sound different to different people, depends on what you are accoustomed to hearing.

It depends on where you live... lol. I am personally from the South and I think the Northern part of the United States of America speak better English than we do here in the South. Again just my opinion but I married a yankee :)

You bet they do. You just can't see it in the writing always. It sounds different, like an accent.

yes and it depends on where you are from to how it sounds

example my mom lives in southern ohio, where i spent most of my life, i can tell when someone is from northern ohio because of their accent, My dad lives in Florida and to other people i saw words differently like, moon, vacuum, home and phone... but i sound normal
also where i live now they pronounce the county's name "POKE" when it is Polk

Everyone has an accent! Some people just may not relize it, because they've heard it often.
