Tom Missikos, my Year 12 maths teacher. When I first saw him at school assembly I thought he looked a little crazy. The following year I ended up having him for my maths teacher and he proved to be an excellent role model. Ten years after I left school I saw him shopping and he stopped to say hello and gave me a hug, his now teenage children were with him. But the best of all was when he thanked me for making him to get through the year. I had ended up being his role model! I walked away from that meeting with such a great feeling and couldn't believe that my teacher was thanking me when it should've been me thanking him.

Sigh.
