I assume that the motor is AC and both power sources are AC
and the pourpose is for safety .Right? .in that case you need
a double pole double throw switch and a single pole single throw switch and some 12-3 wire
it would work if one switch is thrown the motor would work and could be turned off or on by either switch

I assume it's an electric motor? Well you could just put a switch on it so it only receives current from one source or if you flip it, the other.
You could have a hydraulic motor that you control from one source by a simple valve, and the other source by turning on/off the electric motor that turns the hydraulic pump.
Elaborate on your question.
