She likes him and she knows that he likes me but now he's mad at me because my friend lied on me to him and now I don't know how to talk to him without him saying something mean to me. what should i do??

honestly just go talk to him. you have to work things out if you want things to work out between you two. just tell him that what your friend said wasn't true, and maybe she's just jealous. also ask him what you can do to fix the problem.

Confront her and make her tell him the truth, that way he will see that she's a lier and u will look good in his eyes again.
U should talk to him and tell him that she lied you should also go to her and make her tell him the truth.
By the way she's not a friend if she lies on u and try to like the same guy as u

i would end my so called "friendship" with the girl. and i would talk to the boy and explain to him what happened. and if he still believes her then move on. you don't need no one who listens to others instead of you anyway. if hes that gull-able then it probably wasn't meant to be. the reason i say this is just think, if you two hooked up then she would be hating on y'all all the time and if he was believing her then that would just cause problems between you too. i hope everything works. just try to explain things to him and hopefully he will understand.
