I just bought some yesterday and it has like lavender in it and coligen and elastin...good stuff. you should buy if if you havnt tried it yet. i bought a jar for $5 at wal-mart, and i apply it every night after my bath and every morning to avoid the stretch marks of pregnancy

Keeping your skin moist so that it expands better is all you can you. There's nothing on the market that will "erase stretch marks." Though the theory is that softer, more hydrated skin will stretch more easily w/out any permanant damage (i.e. stretch marks).
As for the belly butter, it is one of the most hydrating lotions I've found and it does smell wonderful :)

stretch marks happen from the inside out so anything you use won't necessarily prevent them they may just delay the inevitable. I didn't get mine until 8 months and then just woke up with a road map on my belly

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I've never used any of that stuff. So far no stretch marks!! Best wishes and good luck!!

my doctor told me, you cant do anything to prevent stretch marks. you can soften the appearance, or maybe delay how long it takes for them to show. he said its hereditary and depends on your skin tone.

Thats funny, I just bought some yesterday at Walmart also!!! I love it, and it smells so yummy!!!
