Lol not bananas. We call them Banana Spiders because of their yellow bodies. They weave very strong webs which look like gold thread in the sunshine. That’s why they are actually called Golden Silk Spiders.

They eat all bugs pretty much especially grass hoppers.

Most spiders eat insects to small rodents. If you do have a banana spider-always make sure you know the hazards of owning one and the overall species outline of it.

You can always buy types of insects at pet stores: crickets/luber grass hoppers, meally worms, and even types of cochroaches.

However large breed spiders such as the Golith Bird Eating (jumping) spider well, they eat about anything as bit as them...

Not eat-spiders inject a fluid that pretty much turns your internal organs to mush then they suck it out...some inject toxins, so beware.

(also note that some haired spiders, or tarantulas can emit an allergic reaction by the use of the hair on their body-it is wise to note-if your allergic to bee's or likewise-the keeping of these types of spiders can be dangerous and deadly)

You will not get sick. Spiders are eaten by many cultures. Bananas are disgusting without spiders.

banana's. they feed off of them and come in on the ships that import them. they also create webs and eat small critters that get in them, like flies. they do bite though and you will swell up huge in that area for several hours. i've been bitten by them on old bridges many times on the hand to where my hand swells up that you can't tell you have fingers.
