I am 34 weeks pregnant and have the most extreme lower back pain I have ever felt in my life!!! The only thing that seems to give me some sort of relief is bend my body in half, I wish I could bring my feet to my head!!! Baths dont work, and I dont know what to do. I feel like crying it hurts so bad. My doc says it's normal that the baby is just in my pelvis. I think I am going to end up w/ back labor w/ this one. I did not feel this pain w/ my daughter. Please help I am desperate for some sort of relief the more answers the better. I can't imagine her getting any bigger I just want to rip my spine out!! It's right on my tailbone. My 4 year old feels so bad for me she keeps trying to rub my lower back for me, it's precious but not working. Please Help!!!

try to get the baby to shift. get down on your hands and knees, with pillows under your knees to elivate your pelvis. then gently rock your hips forward and back. it may sound funny, but if you get the motions like you are having sex(back and forth with a slight tilt) then you are doing it right. i have needed to do this several times a day for my daughter loves to lay in my pelvis. also try a heating pad on your lower back, as this may help too.

Lie on your side and let the baby be supported by the mattress or a pillow and not by your back. Place a heated rice pack on your back or try a heating pad or even just a big pillow against your back. Use lotion and massage your own back as much as you can.'

You could try calling massage therapists in your area to see if any of them are certified in pre-natal massage.
