Simple the Benet's tax accountant.

After they paid the 118,000 (secretly to the accountant) for the ransom, they would have a 118,000 tax deduction and then the accountant would take that deduction and 18,000 and pay the taxes on the 118,000 that he received (secretly) and that would leave them with an even 100,000 of laundered money.
