Don't do it!!! IF he is shy, which I doubt, you should be worth him overcoming it. If you got together, what else are you gonna have to help him along with. Men chase and pursue! Not women. Please don't do it. I once thought I'd help out a guy because he was shy....he WAS NOT shy... he had a girlfriend.... come to find out he was more than willing to cheat on the beautiful beautiful girl. Bad news. Not saying that is the case here, but my #1 rule (and I have a good Mom and 6 sisters worth of knowledge) is a man has got to be CRAZY about your for a relationship to even be worth it! Don't give him anything but a smile and a kind word.
You're worth the simple task of being asked out. You're worth it!

Just keep it simple and to the point. Say, "Hey do you want to go out and grab a bite to eat sometime (or Friday, you fill in the date, time and place)?
Keep it simple with guys. Too much mushy upfront makes them bolt!

Today, its perfectly acceptible to ask a person you want to get to know to go to coffee, or lunch....just let him know you would like to get to know him better....Just relax, if he is interested, he would love to be asked
