If I knew something important that I felt like our leaders are missing, do you think they would take my advice seriously?

Well, I think htey might think that htey know better than you, but they might still hear you out. Give it a try. If its a good enough or unique suggestion, they might hear you out.

It depend how you go about it and what your information is. If it's something genuine, you might be in with a chance but if it's something that sounds ludicrous yu're going to have a struggle. The best way to go about it would be o arrange a formal meeting with someoe low down, like your local government representative. Take in graphs, diagrams, and statistics to back up your facts, dress nicely, and speak articulatly. If you can make a promising case to him then you can get him on your side. Next, use him to get to the person above him, and he may accompany you. If you can repeat this process enough times, you should be able to get through to someone with enough power to do smething about it. Whatever you do, DON'T run in there, with your clothes askew, sweat pouring off your brow, and scream ' why won't anyone listen to me?!? It's so obvious, you're all so BLIND!' This will only admit you to one place - the mental asylum.
Good luck to you and I hope I've helped.

What do you mean leaders?

Like president or something?

If a president, I highly doubt it. You would have to go to the White House and find him when he is there and that is hard to do!

There are people, such as advisors and other people who work for them, that tell these people that they're missing something... In the end they'll do what they want.

Yes! But DO anything about it? Probably not.

I think they have an allergic reaction to good ideas.
