i have a 2000 mexican peso. I would like to exchange it for american dollars. I need to know where to go

Some of the larger banks have capability for international exchanges. I'd use the yellow pages to find out which ones in your area could do it.

A bank will probably give you a better rate than an airport exchange kiosk, but the bank will charge a fee also.

Most banks will exchange only bills, not coins.

try the airport. some have currency exchange built in the terminals. only one i could think of. national banks should be able to.

Larger banks should be able to - also Western Union may be able to - they do alot of business with Mexico
