If you are willing to give it a last piece of food before you throw it in the trash, I guess that means you are throwing the mouse in the trash can alive to die for how ever long it takes. Don't you have a heart or compassion for the mouse.
I doubt you can get it off the glue trap without either getting bitten or severely injuring the mouse. Thinking about hurting the mouse now is a little late, should have thought about that before you put down the glue trap. Humanely end the animal's life by killing it.....use your own judgment on that.

Glue mouse traps, which catch and hold mice that are attempting to cross them, in much the same way flypaper catches flies.
Place glue mouse traps along walls where mice travel. Do not use them where children, pets, or desirable wildlife can contact them. Non-target animals that become caught on the glue mouse traps can be removed in most cases by using vegetable oil as a solvent to loosen the glue. Glue mouse traps lose their effectiveness in dusty areas unless covered. Extreme temperatures also may affect the tackiness of glue mouse traps.
The mouse will not be ripped apart when you try to take it out from the glue board. In fact, you will need to dispose it when it's alive! Unfortunately, the American Veterinary Medical Association states that the only acceptable methods of euthanasia for mice or small rats are decapitation and cervical dislocation. For mice caught on glue boards this means taking a sturdy rod or stick to make a sharp blow to the base of the skull. I'm so sorry if you are staying in America.. =p

It IS possible to get animals off of glue traps with baby powder, however, no matter how much you want to, DON'T DO IT. Wild mice carry diseases and you don't want to risk a bite. Also, if it's been on there for any length of time it's probably pretty injured and wouldn't live long. Hate to say it, but the most humane thing you can do is whack it. Do it quickly and put the poor thing out of it's misery. If you can't do it, get your dad or someone else to.

when your dad's not looking get some baby oil or cooking oil and rub it on the glue part & his feet to get him loose. it might take a lot. do this outside then take him across the street to some woods. then go back inside & throw out all the glue traps!
eliminate any food source. try and find out where they are coming in so u can block the hole. check under your sink for holes. they have hav- a-hart traps which catch them so u can take them down the street to the woods somewhere instead of killing them. u set one when u go to bed & check immediately the next morning. make sure theyre closed when not in use. if u just kill them which is mean others will still keep coming back. u have to find their entrance and block it. if its an odd shape steel wool will work or even plain glue if its small. sometimes strong scents such as cayenne pepper, moth balls, or peppermint extract will work because they hate the smell. get some of that & put it around the house.
i get so sick of people saying mice & rats carry disease. so do humans! thats a lousy reason to just kill something. they arent all full of disease.

if you caught a wild mouse via glue trap i wouldn't mess with it.
just let it suffocate on the glue then pitch it when it's dead.
if you want a mouse, get one that is guaranteed disease-free from the pet store.

ok, call someone who knows about the trap things. then put it outside, ok? its a living thing, what if people just got caught in moustraps and had a last t-bone before they're brutally dropped in a canyon that they could easily climb out of if not dead! oh, and if you dont' want to hurt it, why kill it! just put it somewhere else, or give it shots and petstore!

You don't want to hurt it but you want to throw it in the trash? I suggest you call a vermine eliminating specialist and ask them. I have a boss who traps skunks and he drowns them while they're still in the trap if you want to try that.
