OK, it's weird, but it doesn't seem threatening. Did you consider that he might have sent it to you by accident? If he's doing other things that are freaking you out, especially like intimidation or threatening behavior, maybe it's time for him to get some counseling or go live with his dad. I'm going to assume he's an adolescent. A little hostility towards mom is normal at that age.
