As in the Amazon warrior of Greek mythology? Cool - I'm all for that name. She'll be a strong woman, not one to mess with.
That would be pronounced Hip-pol-li-ta, right? That is the name I'm thinking of when I read this.

The Poor kid would get teased.....i mean im in school now and i know how harsh some kids can be....it would be tough for the kid to make friends also, so to have an happy child in life name him a different name...it does not have to be common but dont make it to unique. It Is An Beautiful name but i would reccomend concidering an different name.
