14 Points of fascism:

1.) Powerful and Continuing Nationalism: Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2.) Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights: Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Oh, I'm sorry, I could have sworn you were talking about Bill Clinton
1. Every President has had their symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia
2. Disdain for the recognition of Human Rights- I'm coming from the viewpoint of a pro-lifer the worst disdain of human rights in the last 40 years(the rights of the unborn)
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause (if I hear Hillary Clinton talk about a right wing conspiracy one more time I'll scream.

um yeah, did you ever hear about WW2.
1) Patriotic songs, mottos were played constantly. I even remember one. It had a pic. of a woman on it and it said, "Gee i wish i was a man, that way i would join the navy."

2) People went down to food stamps, women would draw a black line up the back of their leg to look like they were wearing nylons. The list goes on. They basically could not buy what they wanted

3)They kept trying to unify the country to fight Germany and Japan (didn't worry too much about Italy) They even allowed the people to know that the Japanese were killing their own families than let the US take hold of them.

4)Sha-bammy!!! WE ARE IN WW3, STOP TRYING TO HIDE FROM IT!!!!

5) Let's learn from history, so instead of waiting for them to attack us again, (do we really need another pearl harbor or 9-11?) Let's take the dang fight to them. It worked in WW2

Where can I go to find out just what are these "human rights" which are beng shown disdain? All rights are given allowed by the government which is a reflection of their contemporary society/culture. Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness were stupendous for the time/place of their utterance. What of today? LIberty??? I don't think so.
