Okay. Some people say that she can't sing or play the guitar, and others are saying that she can. Magazines have also been saying that she's a talented young star and all that. So what's the real deal about her??? I don't know who to believe.

Avril Lavigne is a guitar player,singer,dancer,she is solid as in that she doesn't take or give no ****.She is now married ,and from Canada.Napanee,Ontario and she made it on her own.
I think she did really good writing her own songs and playing them.Give her credit,she is still young and has the rest of her life ahead of her and she already made it in the world.Good for her.

She's an OK singer and I give her credit for writing her own songs, but that doesn't mean that the songs are good. It's also very bothersome that she claims to be punk but her songs are pop and have no punk elements to them at all. The only thing punk about her is the way she dresses and as the old saying goes, "the clothes do not make the man" (or woman). I can't stand her or her music. She needs to stop being such a poser.
