These are called n factorials and written like this
1! = 1
2! = 1 x 2 = 2
3! = 1 x 2 x 3 = 6
4! = 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 = 24
5! = 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 = 120
6! = 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x 6 = 720
7! = 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x 6 x 7 = 5040

Ok. Factorials are fun. Check this out.
1! = 1
2! = 2*1 = 2
3! = 3*2*1 = 6
4! = 4*3*2*1 = 24

5! = 5*4*3*2*1 = 120
6! = 6*5*4*3*2*1 = 720
7! = 7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 5040

Therefore the next 3 numbers would be 120, 720, and 5040.

using the logic presented it would be 1*2*3*4*5*6.... writing down the answers... so 1, 2, 6, 24, 120, 720, 5040

In general I hate these problems because they make people think that every number sequence can be put in terms of some simple forumula. The Online Encyclopedia of number sequences finds at least 121 sequences this sequence could be a part of! But since you haven't recognized this sequence, I'll give you some clues.
consider subtracting or dividing consecutive numbers, see if a simpler pattern comes out. if so... yay, you may have a solution.
