HOW TO IMPROVE THE FUNCTION OF YOUR COLON

• Learn proper food combinations. Eat 50% of your foods raw. They should be fresh, organic, in-season from your local area. Get a wide variety, but eat smaller quantities.
• Drink half your weight in ounces of water daily. Sip it - not with your meals, but either 1 or 1.5 hours before or 2 hours after meals.
• Chew your foods properly by slowing down while eating and relax.
• Reduce stress and tension by exercising daily and getting the proper amount of sleep.
• Avoid intestinal overloading by responding to the "call of nature" immediately.

Black Walnut Hull, Cascara Sagrada, Fennel, Flax Seed, Papaya, Psyllium, Rhubarb, Senna, Slippery Helm, Wormwood, and Red Clover - all help to cleanse

There are simple colan cleanser powders out there you simply mix with water or juice. But natural detoxs are in diet. It takes a week of dedication of simply fasting from our societies normal eating. Raw fruits and vegetables only. Our body has to work double time to digest the majority of processed foods we are intaking everyday. Sometimes it just needs a break and raw foods does that. A week of clean foods will give you colan a chance to cleanse of the garbage that is in there without wasting time sifting through the fruits and veggies cause they are healthy. This is recommended for everyone at least once a year - if they prefer :)

I have the same problem.

I learned that alfalfa stimulates peristalsis (movement of your bowels), so I'm trying that, and it seems to work.

For the digestion issues, drink green tea once a day. I drink it twice a day, since my gut is really slow. Green tea helps food go through your system faster, and packs it better so you move more of it out of you, faster. It's good stuff.

Garlic can help you too. I eat a clove each night before sleep (so I don't offend anyone I associate with in the daytime!). It is HIGHLY antibacterial. Actually, it can give you the runs if you aren't careful :(.

Increase your intake of foods high with fibers and increase your fluids. Its the best way to clean our intestines.

To cleanse you colon, you should try Colonix. The testimonial pictures are pretty graphic (and funny), but the stuff works. http://www.drnatura.com/colonix_program.php
