This really a difficult question. I love comics and heroes.
I am thinking of all the characters that these two companies killed off.
There were times that I did not like Cyclops. She-Hulk, sometimes, for me, became not needy.
Some of the Inhumans are sort of lame.
At DC, I would have to say some of the Legionnaires. Karate Kid was fun to read, but he was sort of lame.

Dazzler. She just screams lameness. Her powers are incredibly lame. Her character isn't interesting enough to be included in a team, much less get her own series. (I can't believe they gave her her own series for awhile!) She was so lame that the XMen writers had to boot her from the team just to replace her with Jubilee, who is almost as lame but at least has a little character to her and slightly more useful powers of the pointless light generation type.

you've were given to be kidding. DC's heroes are heroes, no longer a set of whiners in spandex like you've were given at marvel. those losers opt to suck it up and act the area. no one cares that your uncle were given shot or you're sworn to guard a international that fears and hates you any more effective. yet I see that you imagine edginess is what makes a hero. i wager you'd be first on-line for the recent Punisher action picture. and then the Wolverine action picture. Please. The 80's are over.

I think there was a member of X men called Husk? Her powers seemed kinda lame. Sometimes its not the character as much as the name. There was an X man just called dust. C'mon

superman and as much as i like green latern, he is so lame because his weakness is the colour yellow, not bullets but bullets painted yellow or anything else for that matter. also the fact that there are hundreds of green laterns he has completely lost his uniqueness.

Superman. He is a total fake. I mean who comes from another planet, and is invulnerable to everything except krypton? There is practically no challenge or threat as to him dying, unless there is kryptonite.
