I was thinking that I wanted to be MYSELF. I am creative and bright (literally, haha).

So I was thinking of wearing this:

-A hot pink sweatshirt that I made. It has the neck cut off so it kind of shows off my shoulders (TASTEFULLY). It has a camera painted on it, and it has "Sharpshooter's Photography" from some baseball shirt on it.
-A plain black tank top underneath the pink sweatshirt.
-Dark indigo skinny jeans.
-A metal studded belt with a tape recorder for a belt buckle.
-Pink flats.
-Black and white checkered socks.

(Mind you, my hair is also partially pink, so I will match.)

I really want to show off my individuality and creativity.
Is this a good idea, or should I dress conservatively to "make a good impression"?
Also, I'd like to say that this is an artsy ALTERNATIVE high school. And my grades suck and stuff, so I don't really have much to offer besides a cool personality.

sure, it relatively is beside the point. even with the fact that it incredibly is an determination college, that doesn't propose that it incredibly is alright to happen for an interview with pink hair. you do no longer comprehend what the college's regulations are whilst it is composed of that, do no longer anticipate something. you are not getting a 2nd probability to make a competent first impact. pink hair won't score you brownie factors for individuality - it is going to distract the interviewer's interest out of your understanding to your hair. So my advice is to apply a non everlasting shade to conceal the pink, get in, and then check out the college's coverage on hair. you go with in, so why take a huge gamble at being rejected over some thing like that?

If you are interviewing to be a student then be yourself.... dont wear a suit or slacks and then swich to hot pick clothes with plid socks.... then you will be known for being fake..... I say as long as your following dress code you are good....

But I thought a school district had to let you in... why are you interviewing? Just curious....
