Jewish-Americans have always been progressive leaders fighting for the rights of minorities, of women and of workers. If the American government tried to oppress people or the rights of Americans Jewish-American leaders and activists had the balls to take them on.
When it comes to the government Israel though it seems like they have absolute loyalty from most American Jews almost to the point of it being pathological . How many people would Israel have to oppress or kill for that to change? Could Israel nuke its neighbors or commit a genocide (the ultimate in tragic irony) and still have support in the American Jewish community? What exactly would it take? Do the lives of Arabs and Muslims not matter? Today the vast majority of the world see Israel's behavior as being at absolute odds with the principles of human rights - why are Jewish supporters so unwilling to examine this conflict in a rational and objective manner?

It would take genocide of the Palestinian people. Jews support Israel because they view Israel's actions in pretty much the same way that Israelis (and other Israeli supporters) see them: as an evil that is necessary for Israel's survival. They contend (and I've never heard a sane argument against this contention) that none of Israel's objectionable actions would ever happen were Israel not forced into doing them by their neighbors and terrorists. Israel would lose support, however, if they committed an immensely horrible action, such as genocide.

Israel is a democracy. Its policy is subject to national debate (unlike the rest of the middle east)...so there is little chance of a runaway administration embarking on genocide (especially given the Holocaust). Maybe if Israel were run by a dictator (like most Arab countries) there could be a policy so unsound that it would cause American Jews to withdraw support.
...so it's not that Israel's actions are not examined by American Jewry...they are. Israel's actions have been sound and that's why they continue to enjoy support from America.

Israel should nuke the terrorists, espeically the Hitler of Iran. I hope that Mike Wallace happens to be there when the nuke arrives. I personally wish they would have dealt with Hezbollah in the manner that we finished World War 2 with Japan. It would have been better than the ceasefire fiasco that's going on right now that will empower Hezbollah once again to attack them.
And the American liberal Jewish politicians need to receive electoshock psychiatric treatment because they've become so infected with liberalism.
As for the rest of the world, they've also been duped by the media and that's why they curse Israel and see good as evil and evil as good.

Why do you support terrorist? When was the last time that Israel use suicide bombers to kill civilians? When was the last time that Israel vowed to wipe a country off of the Earth? How did you learn this hatred of an entire people? Did you actually think about this before you ask this question?

They would have to stop to excuse every war crime they commit with the holocaust. You see, if Israel stops using up weapons the weapon manufacturers would loose money erg the stocks go down and the Jews in New York will also loose money. Simple really.

I believe a lot of Jews were upset that Israel gave land to Egypt, Syria, and the Palestinians. They called them appeasers. Look what's it got them?
