The oil drain bolt on the bottom, right, rear, of the crankcase is for the middle drive gear and the oil fill is under the seat. Fill it very slowly. The tube going down to the engine is very skinny and will over flow if you pore the oil in fast.
The oil drain bolt for the crankcase is more forward. The oil fill cap is on the top, rear, right half of the crankcase. Allen head bolt. I forget if there's an oil level sight glass.
Ever hear the saying, "when in doubt, check it out". This is one motor you don't want to play games with. Buy a shop manual! Do you want to trust your bike to the answers you get here?
If you want to double check that the allen bolt is the oil fill, remove the drail bolt on the bottom and fill the oil. If it drains out, then that's the one.

If you don't have an owners manual, a trip to any Yamaha dealer is worth it to get one. They are cheap and worth their weight in gold.
