Winning a competition is important but it is not the most important thing in joining a competition. The important thing is what you can learn and gain from your new experience. If you learn something, you don't have to win the competition to win. Everyone is the winner.

It is very important... hornestly if you don't wanna win then why do you participate?? those saying like "participation is more important than winning" are all bullsh*t..
If you don't wanna win, don't compete.. I am not saying that you must win everytime to be in the race but you MUST aim to win..

Winning is not important. Only having fun. If you DO have fun and win that's great, but only having fun matters.
