know it all its not all about the wins its about being consistant. Yes junior has more wins but look at how many more top 5s and top 10s he has compared to your wonder boy.Again I would take finishing at the top of the field versus winning one week then suckin *** for 2 weeks. AGAIN shut it!

Nascar is about both luck and skill and you can't deny it. Many other drivers have taken the gamble to stay out and sometimes it has paid off and other times it didn't. With the rain coming out in June @ MIS--I was there, it sucked--it hurt a few drivers. Jr was running right up there with the #48, #20 & #24. It was a very exciting race. They will bring the same car back this weekend---I'll be there again---and hope to see another exciting race (with no rain) this time as well. In a way, I feel sorry for Jr. Everyone expects him to be just like his daddy and he has said MANY times that he is his own driver and is not trying to live up to the name. If DEI was in better shape (ie. not left hanging after Sr.'s death) I feel that their cars would be right up there. But even the DEI guys have said that they know they are lacking in some of the area where other teams are excelling. I do not cheer for Jr. because of his name. I cheer for him because he is a level headed, smart driver who knows how to race. How many times has he became hot headed and spun someone out during the race? Thrown a helmet? Called someone names? Refused interviews? So he can drive a little like his daddy did. He learned it from him. Can you tell me that none of the other driver's use any of Sr.'s driving tactics, skills, or dirty driving ways? Then why be so quick to critisize Jr? Every driver has something that makes him great and it is not fair to look at him as "just another Earnhardt". It is not the name that makes the driver, it's the driver that makes himself. I'm sure he has used his name in some way or another to benefit himself, but do you see him still hanging on to his daddy's shirt tails? He has said in the past that he has been unhappy with DEI and the direction they are going. Will he be the next one to jump ship and race with other teams? Will he get the same crap that everyone else gets if they switch teams? Will he loose fans? Probably, but hey, if it is something that will better himself as a driver, than more power to him. I am first and foremost and Jr. fan, but I do cheer for other drivers. It is the thrill of the race, the excitment of racing 3 wide at 180 mph with 43 cars inches from each other. I hate to hear and see other fans bash other drivers. In teasing and fun it is one thing, but to be rude and mean is something else. You asked an honest question and don't deserve everyone beating you down. You could have put any name in there and would have recieved a variety of rude responses. Yes, this is coming from a Jr. fan. Lay off the guy. Maybe some of these people should put some fact in their answers insterad of acting like idiots and not backing up their ranting and ravings.

Why don't YOU shut it?!?! I agree with know it all. If Junior had a better team, he would do better. He won't crash, I hope Matt's engine blows now. I won't hope for him to crash because I don't want anyone to get hurt. Why do you like to p*** people off so much? You asked the question, so if you want to dish it out you have to be able to take it too. If DEI actually gave Junior a freakin' good car he'd finish better. That's why I think he should go back to RCR, unless DEI fixes their problems soon. Pit strategy is part of racing, genius. He's not the only one who has done it before. Why do you hate Junior so much? What has he done to you? Just admit it, you're just mad because Junior kicked Matt's butt in the Busch series. Both years Junior competed in the Busch series he won the championship. And he beat Matt both times to do it. Oh, I know it is SO FUN to poke at the Junior fans! Give me a break. Do us all a favor and grow up.
**HAVE A NICE NIGHT**

Great Question! You know, I looked at some of the "answers" that people posted, you know the ones that whined "leave Junior alone". Well my question is, when are people going to realize all he has is his dad's name, and definitely not the talent. He's had at least 5 years now to prove himself as a great driver, but he hasn't. There is always an excuse as to why he lost- AGAIN. I am so totally sick of seeing him every where you look, and hearing his name listed as among the best. Well, apparently he's not one of the best or he would have many more wins under his belt. Look at Tony Stewart. He wins consistently. Jimmie Johnson is always close to, or at the top of the points, year in and year out. Even Matt Kenseth whose name is very rarely mentioned is one of the most consistent drivers in the Cup series. People complain about Jeff Gordon all the time, and he gets booed everywhere he goes, but he's only one win away from tying Juniors dad record. That's quite an accomplishment. I highly doubt that Junior will ever come close to tying daddy. I only hope that these people that love him so much, are in the same fantasy league that I'm in . It can only help me. Sorry for the ranting, but I'm tired of Junior riding on his dad's coattails

Lap 52. It will be because of Tony Stewart and his bad driving also. If you have to push someone out of the way to win then you dont deserve to win. I would like to know why people cant get black flagged for rough driving. Here at my local track you take someone out you are loading up and heading home.

jr doesnt need to gamble, he had a car that was capable of wining at michigan earlier this year, just unlucky that the rain came in.
they are going to bring the same car back, with the normal paint scheme, then take it to california a few weeks later. look for jr to make the chase, he has done well at all 4 of teh remaining tracks until the chase starts.
bristol and richmond are always good to him, and he has improved vastly at california, michigan, the flat tracks like that

I'm not a Dale Jr. fan but he'll probably finish without a DNF at Michigan.
Although he hasn't been good at Michigan. He'll probably finish.

Personally I hope he gets a DNF right away. But mostly likely he will finish half of the race before he gets into the wall or another car.

Jr. needs a car thats going to perform in Michigan something his cronies have been lacking on all year.Jr. is definetely a better driver then Jimmie Johnson but he wins races because he has fast cars. Thats what it's all about..fast cars.

You haters are so stupid. Lay off Junior. Don't be so quick to post your stupid, inane, Chicken Little predictions.
What if someone predicted when your driver's gonna crash...
I don't want to see Junior wreck. That twerp Kyle Busch, I wouldn't mind, as long as he's not hurt. Kyle has a way too big EGO. Dale Jr doesn't.
