Seeing how your named at birth and your parent wouldn't know at that time you are gay.... it can be any ones name.... gay, straight, male, female... however I could see a gay guy using that as a preferred name in adult life.... or a woman....
Although I would take into consideration his background.... in some countries names that are outrageous to us or feminine are actually the opposite in other cultures.... Just depends....
I would look more into their actions and mannerisms then going by a name.... names can be deceiving.... actually weighing of everything is a better way to judge. Or you can just say "are you gay dude?"
