how do you deal with the situation.. how to protect your valuables (e.g., car, house) if they know where you live?

I live in Marin City so yeah I guess you could say I live in a neighborhood of punks, and I don't mean in the fashion sense. My car is locked up in a garage and I take the bus back to my house and i have no valuables, I know better.

I did. I have an inside dog that bites. I also have dead bolt locks on both doors. One night they were making a lot of noise across the street. I called the police. Since this is a small town, they were able to patrol 2-3 times an hour. (I also told them I was on dialysis and I was scared). Eventually they moved(about a month or so). the landlord of the house is more careful now with his tenants.

You need to move.
Nobody should need to live in that environment.
Sounds like for some reason "they" don't like you.
I apologize if I'm being naive. I know that it is probably a financially huge hurdle. Tied to your jobs, family, friends etc.
My wife and I moved from Scotland to Canada. My son moved from Canada to London England.
So please do not say that you can't move.

where i live there is neither. we have a bunch of rednecks here and if someone trys to rob one of us or soemthing thay are going to be looking down the barel for a 20G shot gun.. ppl dont mess with us or any one where i live for that matter

that is bad to stereotype and assume people will steal from you because of the music they listen to. I don't think you are going to shoot me with a shotgun for trespassing on your farm just because you are a redneck that listens to country.
Oh, also, bullies don't steal, they just bully people.
