If you look closely, you'll notice it's the factorial series
where n! = 1 x 2 x 3 x ... x n
1! = 1
2! = 2
3! = 6
4! = 24
5! = 120
6! = 720
7! = 5040
8! = 40320
9! = 362880
10! = 3628800
Often times you can find sequences like these in the online encyclopedia of integer sequences (OEIS). Type "1,2,6,24" and it will find series A000142 (link below).
So the next number in the sequence is 120.
